Welcome to January! January really is a beautiful month, although the weather can be far from predictable. I mean, some weather stations are calling for as much as three feet of snow in Hawaii over the next few days! That's absolutely incredible to me, and I certainly think it falls under the category of unpredictable weather. I have a friend from the northeast area of the country stationed in the Army over there right now, so I will have to update you all on the final count where he is. Although truth be told, he isn't too excited about the taste of home.
This week, I really wanted to touch on the pain that can occur around this time of year. As someone who suffers from both Osteoarthritis and Fibromyalgia, believe me when I said I feel your pain. If you suffer from any chronic disorder which can be made worse by the cold, I fully understand how much pain you may be in. For the past few days, I have been in a severe amount of pain because the cold has begun to set in where I live and I regretfully had an issue with my normal medication. If you have been dealing with widespread chronic pain, you are not alone. Even as I type this, one of my common fibromyalgia pressure points is aching. Please know that even though it may seem like no one can know what you're going through with these disorders, some of us understand. Although everyone's reaction is different, we understand enough to empathize on a higher level than many others. You are never alone with your disorder.
Here at Wirth, we want you to know that we are always an option.
